Give rest to the dough for 10 minutes to develop softness and texture.
Now roll out the ball, flatten, round it & place it for frying in hot oil.
Once the puri is puffed and turns light golden in color, take it out.
Enjoy your fried puffed puri with gravy or curry of your choice.
Gulab Jamun Recipe
Method of use-
Start making sugar syrup by adding 200g sugar (can use organic or turbinado
sugar) in 120 ml water in a pot. Add green cardamon to it and boil this until
the syrup slightly sticky.
Then take 500g mawa/milk solids, 100 paneer, 125g Maida Replacer, 2g
baking soda & 1g cardamom powder in a bowl, mix well & start kneading.
Give rest to the dough for 8-10 min. to develop softness and texture.
Now take a small amount of dough and roll small round balls by hand.
Put them in hot oil for frying and keep stirring gently to fry them evenly until
golden in color.
Place golden ball in hot sugar syrup for some time before serving.
Serve Gulab Jamun with sugar syrup and garnish with thinly sliced pistachios.
